Lets join “Various faces of inclusive and diverse cities” webinar

The debate will show the whole spectrum of social groups that are marginalised and at risk of social exclusion. Invited experts will talk about the challenges that local governments and NGOs face in order to meet the needs of the elderly, people with disabilities and migrants – groups that are particularly numerous and vulnerable to marginalisation. The innovative strategies and practical solutions that help create more open, fair and welcoming urban spaces will be discussed as well. The debate will be a platform for the exchange of ideas and inspiration to build more inclusive cities that benefit from diversity.

International RE-EMERGE workshop “Integration through business and civic entrepreneurship: Ukrainian (forced) migrants across the EU”

This international scientific workshop explores socio-economic aspects of integration with a special focus on Ukrainian (forced) migrants in the EU and its member states. It emphasises the roles of the various migration governance actors, taking into account the perspectives of various urban actors - local goverments, social organisations, the private sector and academia, international organisations, as well. It also emphasises the importance of agency and commitment of the migrants themselves.
